Problem

An EdTech company relied on human graders to assess student assignments, which incurred high costs and significantly reduced the potential profits of each cohort. The manual grading process was time-consuming and prone to inefficiencies impacting the company’s bottom line.

Solution

To address this challenge, I experimented on an AI agent leveraging OpenAI's API Assistants and RAG data of rubrics and course content to assist human graders by providing pre-assessments of student assignments. This prototype was designed to integrate seamlessly into the company’s existing workflow and tools, offering graders a streamlined and intuitive interface. The AI agent is projected to reduce the time required to grade each assignment by half, allowing human graders to focus on final evaluations while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Benefits

Experimentation allowed us to determine that introducing this AI agent can significantly reduced grading costs, improving the profitability of each cohort. By cutting grading time in half, the solution not only can enhanced operational efficiency but also empowered graders to manage their workloads more effectively.

Problem

Establishing an innovative culture within organizations often lacks structure, leaving ideation teams without clear direction or tools to effectively generate impactful ideas. This can result in scattered brainstorming sessions, misaligned problem-solving efforts, and missed opportunities to address key challenges. Without a structured approach, teams may struggle to focus on the right problems or produce actionable solutions.

Solution

To address this, I implemented a structured AI-driven ideation process that leverages custom prompts tailored to each identified challenge. Using the Persona, Context, Task, Output, and Constraints framework, these prompts guide AI to generate preliminary ideas supported by relevant data. These AI-generated ideas serve as conversation starters during ideation sessions, helping teams focus on the right problems and ask clarifying questions. This approach ensures that ideation sessions are both productive and aligned with organizational goals.

The product management and development process relies heavily on clear and detailed documentation to ensure alignment and success. Challenges and problems must be documented to support ideation and requirements gathering, while requirements need to be clearly outlined to guide technical architecture and user experience design. Additionally, developed solutions and designs require thorough documentation to ensure proper maintenance and support. Without efficient documentation processes, teams can become bogged down in administrative tasks, reducing their ability to focus on strategic and creative work.

Solution

To address this, I created AI Agents capable of generating essential documentation and artifacts, including Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), User Stories, Technical Specifications, and documentation for developed code and features. These AI Agents streamlined the documentation process, ensuring accuracy and consistency while significantly reducing the time required to produce these critical materials. This allowed the team to focus on higher-value tasks, such as interfacing with stakeholders to gather requirements, identifying challenges, and conducting ideation sessions.
